MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2009 film?

Medium-length feature film adaptation made by the director in 2008, Hell's Gate. It tells the story of Alexander Pierce, a famous Australian convict. Based on the memoirs of Pierce, the director takes us on the journey of a few fugitives after fleeing the brutal prison Mcquire Harbour in 1828, they must also face an inhospitable terrain to force his human boundary conditions.
