MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1932 film?

In this piece Dreyer film introduces us to a universe spooky, using expressionistic images. The adolescent begins to have horrifying visions, of which the most tragic is the discovery of a woman without conscience has even been attacked by a vampire as a witch. A teenage passenger, Allan Gray, is housed in a strange castle, whose dense and rarefied atmosphere reminiscent of nightmares. The teacher Dreyer wheel in France this personal vision of horror: a dream world and inspiring, full of ghosts and shadows that capture more by force of the images of the story so terrifying. Although it is now considered a masterpiece of the genre, in its day was a complete failure, so that the Danish director take twelve years to re-shoot his next film, "Dies Irae ".
