MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1982 film?

In 1939, Jose Garces, and also defeated prisoner in the concentration camp Argéles, manages to stay alive by clinging to their memories. Both had a legend of love in a village in northern Spain around 1911. Especially at the memory of his first love, Valentina, the daughter of the notary, angelic blonde girl who incidentally became his utopian dream and never to forget. Jose Garces at age 12 was a child full of vitality being torn between being a hero, saint or poet, and inventing what is necessary to some extent be with Valentina, despite threats and disturbing shadow relatives of the parents of the bride. Monsignor Joaquin child's teacher is the only one to understand the strength of his passion.
