MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1949 film?

During World War II, General Frank Savage, Air Force of the United States, is sent to England to relieve the commander of a unit responsible for bomb Germany, whose members are completely demoralized. Although it is kind and understanding, Savage immediately applied discipline shock to raise the morale of the troops. Squad members, reluctant at first to accept the new standards as they change, thanks to Savage, get unexpected victories. However, the depletion voltage and which is generally lead to command a limit condition.
