MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1995 film?

A mysterious catastrophe has wiped out the human race from the face of the Earth. The year is 2035 and the survivors live in underground caves. Cole volunteers to travel back in time and get a sample of the virus and thus get a remedy. During the trip he meets a beautiful psychiatrist and an exceptional mental patient who speaks about the army of the 12 monkeys.
