MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1988 film?

Times of the French Revolution, the place is the village of Travers, in neutral Switzerland. The radical writer Ferdinand Huber, Therese lover, hoping to find a way to soften the animosities. Herman Beyer is about to divorce his wife Therese. What also follows, however, is a non-stop binge.
