MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1948 film?

Professor Casamandrei participates as a member of a jury in a beauty contest, where he falls for Doriana, which incidentally asks marriage. The answer: " I will marry you when I win the Giro d' Italia". She asks him if he knows cycling, he says no. Casamandrei be willing to sell his soul to the devil to some extent able to win the popular cycling competition.
