MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1943 film?

A physician, also terminally ill, suffering from a great depression. One day a man who killed his unfaithful wife, is presented to the physician, with a gunshot wound. With his wife, decide to leave the city and also to move to a cabin in the hills away near the humble home of a farmer, who lives with his pregnant mistress. The doctor informed him that his arm will have to be human amputee and then decides to commit suicide. Subsequently, the physician learns that his wife and the farmer are secretly having an affair.
