MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2009 film?

Forced to become the man of the house when his dad goes to war and never returns, a teenage boy named Tommy tries to rescue the family farm with a little help of his new partner, a mule speaker also called Jackie A. If Tommy manages to make enough money to somewhat stop the bank from foreclosing on the farm, his mother and his sister could rest easy knowing they have a place to call home. A boy Jackie and hatch a plan to overcome obstacles, and take the first prize of an annual competition.
