MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1936 film?

Lynnfield is a prudish and repressive small town that feels troubled before the publication of a daring novel called ' The sinner '. The author is Theodora Lynn, a writer who signed with the nickname of Caroline Adams, and belongs to an influential family. Before the terror of being discovered as the book's author, Theodora travels to New York to negotiate with the advertiser. But along the way knows the cover artist Michael Grant, who falls in love.
