MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2004 film?

In the newly created United States, hundreds of families move toward the western border in search of a land that offer new opportunities. Moved by that feeling, Steed family leaves his native Vermont to start over on a farm in upstate New York. Over a period of widespread spiritual revival, the family unknowingly installed in a city divided by different faiths. Soon they find themselves in trouble.
