MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?
Based on the novel by Thomas Hardy, the story is set in the late nineteenth century in rural southern England. Grace, the daughter of the timber Melbury, returns to the village after completing their studies. Now his father believes that she can find a better husband than her childhood boyfriend, the woodcutter Giles. Grace is married to Dr. Fitzpiers handsome teenager, but soon finds that it is not the master of his dreams and he still loves Giles.
