MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2005 film?

China, 1936. Shanghai is a hive where they mix political intrigue, refugees of different nationalities, foreign military forces and international business. In the midst of this maelstrom, have site meeting Sofia, a beautiful Russian countess forced by circumstances to work as a waitress and dancer to support her family, and Jackson, a blind diplomat and pessimistic, which has been shattered by the loss of his family. Their relationship develops in The White Countess, an elegant nightclub where the diplomat tries to shut out the chaos and tragedy that surround it.
