MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

Small yet all this great piece of cinema, The Traveller is a surprise to, in short, all lovers of independent cinema. Raised by Native Americans, is to return to the forest and also learn how to live in accordance with their two cultures. It tells the personal search of a somewhat strange character, a Canadian expert on native culture, also leaves his work teaching Indian masks to sell, but returning to college to start a long journey in search of forgiveness and sense. This story is not a melodrama, but pure cinema, with little dialogue, amazing sound and image editing beautiful and intriguing. Intimate, leisurely and fascinating, the first work of Bruno Lazaro recalls Peter Weir, Herzog, Bergman and Nicolas Roeg. A wonderful piece of magical realism, with a haunting imagery and use of native myths.
