MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1950 film?

Suzette Micheline, a famous opera singer, comes to a village in the swamps of Louisiana, and meets Pepe Abellard Duvalle, a fisherman who happens to have a great voice. She gets angry at him for something rude behavior, but director Jacques Riboudeaux, Suzette's former lover, Pepe sees great talent and invited him to travel to New Orleans to sing in his opera.
