MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1945 film?

A former New Orleans police even works as a private detective hired him for a strange woman to some degree to recover a document. He has no choice but to find the real culprit if he wants to prove his innocence. While trying to fulfill their missions is involved in a murder of which, according to the police, the main suspect.
