MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2011 film?

Teleserie two chapters. The September 12, 1942, the Laconia, a cruise ship transformed into transport for troops, was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U -156, commanded by Werner Hartenstein. 1,621 people died and 1,104 survived. Most of the passengers were women, children, wounded soldiers and Italian prisoners of war. After the collapse, Hartenstein, rather than leave their fate to survivors decided to save as many lives as possible. A true story of humanity amidst unusual cruelty of war.
