MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

Most people do not think when they think the songs are remembered revolutions. But it was the song selected weapon between 1986 and 1991, when Estonians sought freedom from decades of Soviet occupation. During those years, hundreds of thousands of people gathered in public to sing forbidden patriotic songs, starting the path to independence. "Teenagers, without any political party without the politicians, we get together, not only tens of thousands, but hundreds of thousands, to remember and sing, and give this nation a new spirit ," says Mart Laar, one of the singing revolution leaders who appear in the film and that was post-Soviet Prime Minister of Estonia. " The Singing Revolution " tells the moving story of how the Estonian people peacefully regained their freedom, helping to overthrow the Soviet Empire.
