MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2002 film?

Based on true events. Also suffered a shoulder injury that also ended his career twelve years ago. Jim Morries was a baseball player who never made it out of the second division. It is now a married man with children and also, a chemistry professor and baseball coach at a high school in Texas. One day, a whole offers a deal: if they can win the regional championship, Jim may be made to the evidence of a first division team. It is a great challenge for the team so that, if one of the worst, going on to win the championship for the first time in school legend. Jim is forced to fulfill their part of the bargain and the evidence is presented, however on the other hand something amazing happens. This film is a remake of El principiante (1990), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
