MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1988 film?

In a small town in Pennsylvania, Rupert rebellious member Marshetta is apparently a properly - working class family headed by his parents, Gary and Pam. Instead, Carla chases an ancient and attractive ex -hippie who owns a business. But Rupert is not very predisposed to be part of the idyllic American Dream, with its stunning haircut and easygoing attitude, not the job of following the steps in the hard work of his father in the local coal mines. To get money and keep your family together, Rupert and Carla decide then kidnap Gary, and her mother also pay the ransom. The surprise is that Pam does not want her husband back.
