MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2002 film?

South Africa 1950 To survive a baby should be as shrewd and tough as an adult. A mining town in the desert. Robert Nile is said child. Their only goal is to run away, break life which certainly known, be successful. Cape Town, 1966 A man shoots and kills the parents of Alex, a young pianist. But the shooter can not shoot the baby and Alex is alive, traumatized ... Cologne, Germany, 29 years after.
