MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2013 film?

Adaptation of the U.S. bestseller Noah Gordon, historical novel published in 1986 that broke sales records worldwide, sold over 21 million copies. It tells the story set in the eleventh century in England by Rob Cole, a young man who is orphaned after his mother died of a strange disease. Determined to become a doctor by misfortune suffered, the young man decides to go to Persia to study medicine at the orders of the learned doctor Ibn Sina.
