MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1971 film?

A housewife and her young daughter, who incidentally flee their boring lives, stop at a restaurant in the California desert. The housewife encounters the restaurant owner, a sharp and alcoholic artist, whose work in life are neon sculptures created and placed on the roofs.
