MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?

The late 20s. A shy and naive chess grandmaster travels to northern Italy to play the game of his life. The Luzhin young talent had developed during a childhood marked by the tempestuous marriage of their parents, hence the obsession with chess as only refuge, as a lifeline to the outside world. Meanwhile, Natalia, despite family pressure to enter into relations with the Earl of Stassard potentate, is immediately attracted by the erratic yet Luzhin prodigious talent. She managed to open her eyes to the outside world, so different from a chessboard. The conflict is that Luzhin has no defense mechanisms against real-world attacks.
