MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1990 film?

In the 50s, in Montgomery, Alabama a village, racial and social prejudices are the order of the day. Odessa is a black woman who works as a housekeeper in the home of Miriam Thompson, a white woman in good position. Every day Odessa catch the bus to go to work, but after a boycott of blacks to the carrier, the woman has trouble getting around. Although racial prejudice, Miriam is friendly and good with Odessa, and the relationship between them gets ever closer.
