MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1914 film?

John Burkett Ryder is a master of finance with a boundless desire to have wide range. No mean avarice, but a love of the power to be gained through riches, a domineering might and an unscrupulous heart. Previous to the opening regarding the tale Ryder has compassed the economic spoil and expert disgrace of Judge Rossmore, associated with Supreme Court, to avenge himself for several unfavorable choices that your judge has rendered up against the business. Shirley Rossmore, the judge's child, and young Jefferson Ryder going back from European countries on the same ship, have met and register a pretty tale desire for both, coming to the full time entirely ignorant regarding the friction now current between their respected dads.
