MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1971 film?

Set during the Thirty Years War in 1637. During one of his trips, Vogel, a former teacher, comes to a quiet town in a beautiful valley that has not been affected by the war raging around. An army of mercenaries also found, and Vogel accepts the offer to stay for the winter in exchange for protecting the people. But the lifestyle of mercenaries clashes with village residents and aaparenta violence.
