MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1946 film?

After the Second World War, Swede Lunn, a veteran soldier and boxer in decline, finds difficulties in returning to civilian life. One day he meets a gangster's girlfriend, the irresistible and enigmatic Kitty Collins, who offers him to join the band to participate in a robbery and then keep all the loot. A remake called The Killers (1984) was made based on this movie.
