MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1950 film?

Biography of Jackie Robinson, the first black player who participated in the American Baseball League. Recounts his struggle against racism and constant humiliation and abuse to which he was subjected for being black in a sport considered only for whites. At first, he appeared as an athlete at UCLA and later in the army. He was instrumental in joining the " Monarchs " of Kansas City, who played in the Negro League, as then was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers, group him in their ranks, came to win six championships in ten years, also World Series. He was named Rookie of the Year 1947, MVP in 1949, participated in the All-Star six times and became the second most popular lord country after Bing Crosby. The achievements of this legendary player made all the groups of Major League withdrew the number 42 of their uniforms, in recognition of his talent, dedication and struggle for human rights. Years later, it became part of the Hall of Fame Baseball. Interestingly, the player is played by Jackie Robinson himself.
