MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1937 film?

Manikoora is an island in the South Seas always hit by typhoons, although for years he has not suffered any. It's a French colony whose governor exercise power outside the traditions and customs of the natives. According to local legend, when the tyranny beyond certain limits, the birds leave the island and the sea roars angrily. The loving relationship between two native Marama and Terangi, will be jeopardized when he is unjustly imprisoned in Tahiti. A remake called Huracán Carter (1999) was made based on this movie.
