MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1993 film?

In medieval France a young lawyer Richard Courtois leaves Paris in search of a more normal life in the field. But soon finds himself immersed in political intrigue, besides being somewhat required to defend a pig, owned by the mysterious gypsy Samira. The pig has been arrested for the murder of a young.
