MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1975 film?

In the United States, during the 20s, the " Mann Act " prohibiting human being crossing a border with a woman, if she was not married to her. Nicky, a rogue to divorce, is expected to travel from New York to Los Angeles with a rich heiress named Freddy. To do so without violating the law, convinces Oscar, LA Story he owes favors to marry Freddy, accompany them during the trip and is installed with them for a while. The problems begin when Oscar decides to demand their marital rights and uncover the real intentions of both men.
