MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?

In December 1776, six months after the start of the War of Independence of the American colonies against the mother country, George Washington's troops were defeated in every battle by the English army. But, when it seemed that all was lost, Washington and his officers are planning an attack almost suicidal to get their first win. With the help of Colonel John Glover and his team of sailors, the army crossed the Delaware River and, at dawn, launched a surprise offensive to change the course of the war. This film is a remake of The Crossing (1990), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
