MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1944 film?

The theater doctor murders a beautiful cantata after being rejected by her. Ten years later, a new singer is the star of stage and the doctor thinks he recognizes in it the reincarnation of his former lover he killed. Obsessed with her decides to hypnotize. The boyfriend of the girl will have to undo the spell to not end his own life.
