MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1948 film?

In a small English village, police picks up Peter, a boy with a shaved head who refuses to speak to the questions of the agents. Dr. Evans, the psychiatrist who works with the police, will be the guy who will take confidence and will be chosen to hear his incredible story: Peter lived with his grandparents, a former circus showmen. One day, while helping at the grocery store where he worked, he learns that a new war is about to explode. That's when he learns that his parents died in an air raid during one of the bombing of London. The next morning, Peter woke up with green hair completely. All the kids were laughing at him, so Peter flees into the forest, where you will have a vision: He has been chosen. And he, the green-haired boy, will be responsible for notifying the rest of the people the horrors and dangers of war.
