MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1956 film?

London, 1872. In his cell in Newgate Prison, Dr. Ramsay is visited by Sir Joel Cadman, his former mentor, who even gives you the freedom to change to become his personal assistant. With the help of Odo, who is responsible for the supply of victims, Professor Cadman takes some time researching the human brain in a desperate attempt to find a cure for his wife somehow in a vegetative state for eight months. The results can not be more macabre.
