'The Animal Condition' records three and a half years in recent history of Australia, where animal welfare went from a marginal to be in the focus of nationwide problem. Four teenagers on a journey to investigate the length and breadth of Australia, without fear of asking questions, consulting all parties: politicians, activists, farmers, Aboriginal, philosophers, scientists or immigrant workers. The views change with each new encounter, leading to wonder about the company beyond the treatment of animals.
