MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

In 1994 took place in Los Angeles in addition two events that shook the earth: the Northridge earthquake and also the birth of Tenacious D, the band led by Jack Black and Kyle Gass.
