MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2009 film?

The day Meir is 10 years old her mother decides to run away from home to follow his youthful dreams of being a singer, leaving abandoned by his father. Over the years, both Meir as his best friend have his eye on the most handsome high school kid, but that will not stop him to keep looking for her mother and reach Tel Aviv, where he will become famous becoming the drag queen Mary Lou. A modern fable with catchy music and a story based on Israeli pop songs that won the Israeli Emmy Award for best miniseries in 2010.
