In the mid sixties in Washington DC, vibrant soul music and an explosive social situation were combined creating a unique and powerful effect. It was the place and time of Petey Greene Jr., reformed ex-convict, converted into a unique radio broadcaster, with the help of her irresistible girlfriend Vernell Watson, will shock a nation. Thanks to Dewey Hughes, program director of the WOL -AM, Petey will quickly become an icon of the radio.
