MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1988 film?

Gimli Hospital, Iceland. While her mother is on her deathbed, two kids hear the Solitaire Einar chronic mouth of his grandmother. Years ago, in the same hospital, the shy fisherman Einar was admitted victim of a terrible epidemic that ravaged the island indeed. There Gunnar befriended a patient natured drew all nurses with chronic magnificent. But their friendship will be tarnished when they discover their common past.
