MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1961 film?

Adaptation of Tennessee Williams' eponymous drama, set in a small town in Mississippi. Historically, Alma, a shy and also very spiritual, has been in love with John Buchanan, a doctor of materialistic ideas which incidentally only has eyes for, in short, Rosa Zacharias, the passionate and outspoken casino owner's daughter.
