MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1971 film?

The American astrophysicist David Sumner moved to live in the village of his wife in Britain. It is a quiet and shy man who lives deep in research and care to avoid any dispute. However, the brutality of certain individuals of the people is so extreme that Sumner, located between the rock and reacts with the same weapons as their attackers to defend his wife and home key ... Work in the films of Peckinpah, straw Dogs is a study about the brutality of human beings based on the novel the Siege of Trencher's Farm, Gordon M. Williams.
