MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1985 film?

Kowalski junkies spent four months on the Lower East Side. Gradually gained their trust and was allowed to take your camera to film. The result is this docudrama. Its central figure is John Spacely. His nickname, Gringo, the title of the film. Gringo has a patch on one eye, silver hair, black leather clothes, a skate that takes you from one side to another and a few rings and bracelets in the body. It is he who guides the director in his journey through the world of the heroine. If this is hell, Gringo is, of course, a Virgil chopped veins. Movie unfit for impressionable, Gringo shows debuting junkies, living his life, flying, sinking and dying. And murder, disease and needles, many needles.
