MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2005 film?

Jesse Stone is a former homicide detective in Los Angeles that left the town and its exseñora to become chief of police in a quiet New England seaside town, Paradise, Massachusetts. A Stone costing abandon their old customs, and continues abusing his two passions, whiskey and women. But when there are a series of murders, and a student of the institute claims to be the victim of a rape, Stone is forced to confront his own demons to solve crimes, in 2006 it became a prequel to " Jess Stone: Night Passage ". This film is a remake of Frío como el acero (1991), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
