MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1999 film?

A few days before her fifteenth birthday, the teen Sofia receives a mysterious anonymous letter, in which only written some disturbing questions: Who are you, What is the origin of the planet? ? This will be the starting point for an exciting expedition through the history of Western philosophy, which counts as the enigmatic philosopher guide Alberto Know. Together they will travel through time and space 2400 years of history, to ancient Greece or the Middle Ages up to the modern era. On this particular trip will meet the most famous thinkers of every age, thus engaging in a great and amazing epic adventure.
