MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1990 film?

In the city of Kladno, during the process of "rectification " communists in 1950, a peculiar group of repressed characters come to a smelter for recycling so the remains of the old order and making them new tractors and machinery. Note the critical and the hilarious dialogues of a gang of workers forced composed by a philosophy professor who also opposes burning masterpieces of Western literature, a prosecutor who dares to claim the right to defend those facing a devoted musician to an instrument as bourgeois as the saxophone or a chef who refuses to work on Saturdays for religious reasons. On the other hand, are full of life faces a number of prisoners sentenced to hard labor for trying to flee the Czechoslovakian border. And between these two teams that will inevitably attract, draw the outline of a stolid guardian unable to stem the beautiful love story that blossoms between the young chef prisoner Pavel and Jitka.
