MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2012 film?

In the late '60s, a mysterious musician was discovered in a Detroit bar by two producers who also were captivated by his soulful melodies and prophetic lyrics in addition to his. They recorded two albums they thought that would place the artist as one of the greatest of his generation. But success never came. In fact, the singer disappeared into obscurity amid rumors of his gruesome suicide onstage. While the figure of the artist was lost in oblivion, one of his vinyl came to apartheid South Africa, multiplying across the country in bootlegs, and during the next two decades Rodriguez was becoming a phenomenon, an icon of the freedom and the "anti -establishment ". Much time later, two South African fans were determined to find out what really happened to their hero. Their investigation led to even more extraordinary chronicle of the myth of the artist known as "Rodriguez ". This is a piece cinematográgica about hope, inspiration and the power of music.
