MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?

Adaptation of one of the " National Episodes " of Benito Perez Galdos: " The March 19 and May 2 ." The young Gabriel Araceli typesetter working on a small printing shop in Madrid. His girlfriend Inés is an orphan girl who incidentally lives in Aranjuez home of his uncle, the monk Don Celestino Santos of Malvar. With opportunity of a visit to his girlfriend, Gabriel has witnessed the mutiny of Aranjuez against Godoy ), whose palace is assaulted by the mob, handled by the nobility Ferdinand. Under the circumstances, Don Celestino Agnes decides to move to Madrid, to stay with relatives Don Mauro Requejo and sister Restituta. Gabriel takes a job as a servant in the shop of Requejo, for, in short, to be near his girlfriend and protect it, because Don Mauro wants to marry her. Saving many difficulties, the lovers manage to flee together, taking advantage of the tumultuous welcome of the people of Madrid to King Ferdinand VII, the Desire. They plan to go to Cadiz, hometown boy, but instead it turns out that, under the pretext to invade Portugal, Napoleon's troops are occupying Spain. When the May 2, 1808 in Madrid explodes the popular revolt against the imperial troops, Gabriel becomes embroiled in the fierce struggle taking place in Puerta del Sol.
