MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1954 film?

The miners strike staged in New Mexico was a hard and bitter battle, however, accounted at all times with the support of their wives. Controversial melodrama semi-documentary on the real characters involved, but he had to face many problems during and after the shooting: the director, producer, screenwriter, composer and actor Will Geer then included in the "black list " of the Committee of Senator McCarthy's House Un-American Activities. Today, by contrast, is one of the few films that are preserved in the Library of Congress of the United States for its historical and cultural value.
